AcuSport Promotes Senior Management Team

BELLEFONTAINE, OHIO (January 3, 2013) - AcuSport Corporation, a leading distributor of shooting and outdoor sporting products, is pleased to announce the promotion of its leadership team. Kenan Ikels will be the new Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Ikels joined AcuSport more than seven years ago and has been championing key initiatives that utilize advanced technology to provide better service for retailers. "Kenan's wealth of experience in developing and managing sales teams along with his forward-thinking growth strategies makes him a natural candidate for this role," Bill Fraim, AcuSport's CEO states. "Kenan is an innovator. He will drive change in our industry, making all of us better business people."

Christopher Cole will take on a key role as the Vice President of Supply Management. Cole joined AcuSport more than seven years ago and has been instrumental in managing the flow of product for leading firearms industry manufacturers and supporting major brand initiatives with retailers. Jim Broering, AcuSport President, adds, "Chris understands the importance of working with manufacturers to service the needs of independent firearms retailers. Chris and his team work tirelessly with manufacturers to ensure that the product needs of our customers are fulfilled."

Mary Grim, an AcuSport veteran of more than eighteen years, will maximize growth as Vice President of Operations. Grim's experience along with her leadership capabilities make her a great fit to champion AcuSport's development strategy while meeting the needs of the independent firearms retailer. "Mary's keen sense of business, her strong operations background, and her strategic thinking skills are valuable assets to the company," says Fraim.

Debra Ward will be promoted to Chief Information Officer. Ward joined AcuSport more than fourteen years ago. Her experience in streamlining systems and developing high-performance solutions will be a valuable asset to AcuSport's independent retailers and manufacturers. "It's important to utilize technology to streamline business processes and make your operation more efficient and profitable. Utilizing the latest technology and investing in solid IT systems continues to pay great dividends in our business," Broering emphasizes.

Recently, John Flanagan joined AcuSport as Chief Financial Officer. Flanagan is an integral addition to the management team and contributes more than twenty years of business-to-business finance experience. Flanagan brings a keen eye toward rapid growth environments and a tenacity to enforce performance accountability. Broering states, "I'm sure John and his team of finance professionals will make a significant contribution to AcuSport's growth and future success."
