Georgetown, TX - STI International's Employee Owners proudly announce the expansion of their Tactical line of pistols to a full "family" with the addition of the Tactical 3.0 for back up and concealed carry.

Built on STI's patented 2011 technology, the STI Tactical line offers more fire power advantage than 1911 tactical pistols. Combining this advantage with less felt recoil and other popular 2011 features, the STI Tactical line of pistols are superior pistols for all tactical applications. Whether for police and SWAT teams requiring a firearm with a light rail and high capacity, or for the individual demanding a high performance pistol with special features for personal protection, with the addition of the Tactical 3.0 the series now covers all tactical needs. The STI Tacticals deliver the added benefit of high capacity magazines without over-sizing the circumference of the grip; less than 1/8 of an inch difference with traditional 1911s.

Available in standard length or with full length dust cover, the Tactical 5.0 has front and rear cocking serrations, while the Tactical 3.0 and Tactical 4.0 have rear serrations only and are available in either steel or aluminum. All come standard with an STI ramped front sight, and STI TAS rear sight. Fixed tritium night sights are an available option. The STI Tacticals come standard with features such as an STI stainless steel fully supported, ramped bull barrel, a STI RecoilMaster guide rod system, an STI hi-ride grip safety, and STI ambi-thumb safeties. Calibers are 45 ACP, 9mm, and 40 S&W.
