D.C. v. Heller, This Week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk

Mandeville, LA – Tuesday marks ten years since the Supreme Court's decision in District of Columbia v. Heller. What exactly did the ruling mean for gun rights, and where are we a decade later? Hear from the attorney that fought the court and prevailed this Sunday on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk®, the original nationally-syndicated talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Lead counsel on the Heller case, attorney Alan Gura, speaks with Tom this week about the landmark decision - what it meant then, and what it means now.

"The Heller decision, and the McDonald case which made it apply to the states, put a stake in ground, anchoring the right of Americans to protect themselves," said Gun Talk host, Tom Gresham.  "I'm delighted to be able to talk with Alan Gura, the lead counsel on the case, to not only recount that ground-breaking effort, but to review the shabby way lower courts currently treat 'Heller,' and to get his perspective on the future of our Second Amendment rights."

Tom also talks with Reason magazine senior editor Jacob Sullum, and gets his take on the Supreme Court virtually ignoring Second Amendment cases since Heller. Plus, your comments, questions, and range reports - call 866-TALK-GUN.
