Dryshod Introduces Steadyeti Boot

Conklin, NY — Dryshod®, the new benchmark in performance waterproof footwear for outdoor recreation and occupational use, is excited to announce a collaboration with Vibram on our new Stedyeti cold weather boot. The new Steadyeti features a VibramÒ “Hellcat” Arctic GripÔ outsole giving this boot exceptional traction on wet ice along with the durability and comfort you have come to expect.

The Steadyeti waterproof rubber boot builds on Dryshod’s proven natural hand-laid rubber and DENSOPRENE foam technology to deliver maximum protection against the elements in the most challenging and austere climates. Now, the Steadyeti takes that performance to the next level with features specifically designed for icy conditions featuring VibramÒ Arctic GripÔ Outsole.

Since cold weather means slippery conditions, the Steadyeti features a Vibram® Hellcat Arctic Grip™ outsole. Designed specifically for enhanced traction on wet ice, the Vibram Hellcat outsole comes with oversized grip pods and deep voids to help keep your footing on the slickest surfaces. An extra rugged super grip outsole offers extra rugged grip for extreme-cold and icy conditions.

Beginning with the 5.5mm DENSOPRENE® foam bootie that is standard on many Dryshod waterproof boots, the Steadyeti incorporates two additional insulating layers—a 2.5mm DENSOPRENE XD foam layer and a 1.5mm airmesh layer to enhance air circulation and to keep feet dry. Finally, a 2mm fleece lining is added for extra cold-weather protection. As with all Dryshod boots, the Steadyeti outer neoprene layer is treated with HYDROKOTE® to repel water, mud, snow, and ice so the uppers stay clean and never get soggy in the wettest conditions.

While extreme-duty waterproof boots historically fall short in the ergonomic department, the Steadyeti addresses these issues to ensure all-day-wear comfort and support for work and active recreation. The heel, toe, ankle, and instep are all reinforced to minimize foot roll and to reduce fatigue. This is further supported by a full-foot reinforced tuck board and protective steel shank combined with a contour-molded EVA sock liner insole. The latter also adds an additional cold-blocking layer.

Additional features of the Steadyeti include a molded-in heel kick for easy boot removal and a large 3M reflective side strip for low light and nighttime visibility. This boot is available in men’s size in both hi- and mid-calf sized uppers.
