Indiana’s state parks have a sweet deal for people who love s’mores, the iconic campfire treat. Facebook and Twitter followers of the DNR Division of State Parks can participate in the 2018 S’mores in the Outdoors Contest for a chance to win prizes, including an annual entrance pass for 2018, state park inns gift cards, Outdoor Indiana magazine subscriptions, camping gift cards and s’more kits for fall camping.

Each day in August, parks staff will post a photo on Facebook and Twitter of a s’more “visiting” iconic features of Indiana State Parks. Participants who correctly identify which park each s’more is visiting on each day and write those answers on a game card will be entered in a drawing for prizes.

The game card – essentially a calendar of August – is available for download at stateparks.IN.gov/3282.htm. It can also be printed from the Indiana State Parks Facebook page, facebook.com/INdnrstateparksandreservoirs.

Completed game cards must be emailed to SPContests@dnr.IN.gov or postmarked by Sept. 12 to be eligible for prizes.
