Indiana: volunteer call-out for Brown County SP is April 11

To celebrate National Volunteer Week, Brown County State Park will have a volunteer call-out meeting on April 11 at 10 a.m. at the Brown County State Park Nature Center.

Brown County State Park is looking for responsible and dedicated people to fill many volunteer needs. Individuals can help on a regular basis or when they have spare time. Work on some projects will be independent while other volunteers will work with staff or on scheduled workdays.

Representatives from the park will list specific needs like trail maintenance, shelter upkeep, landscape needs, invasive plant control, event coordination and other projects. People will be able to fill out all necessary volunteer paperwork after the informational meeting.

Brown County State Park (on.IN.gov/browncountysp) is at 1450 S.R. 46 E in Nashville, 47448.
