Whitetails Unlimited Supports Mid-America Special Sportsman’s Association

Whitetails Unlimited awarded a $6,828 grant to the Mid-America Special Sportsman’s Association in Rocheport, Missouri. The organization concentrates on serving area individuals with special needs by providing them with hunting opportunities. Their focus is with individuals who are sight impaired by using specialized digital sighting equipment. Currently, MASSA has 8 chapters in Missouri that are dedicated to helping special needs individuals enjoy the outdoors.

“We absolutely love helping organizations that help individuals who otherwise may not have the means to take part in hunting activities,” says Whitetails Unlimited Programs Services Director Russ Austad. “Our Preserving the Hunting Tradition program does just that, which makes this partnership with MASSA well-suited.”
