Tactical Gear Distributors (TGD), the leading wholesale distributor of performance firearms, ammunition and tactical gear, is expanding its inside sales team and looking for candidates knowledgeable in the areas of firearms (tactical and handguns) and related accessories. For those who love the shooting sports industry and want to build a career around these products, this is an ideal job.

Job Functions:

1. Full-time position located in Aberdeen, NC
2. Recruit, develop and maintain a customer base
3. Meet or exceed sales goals as established by the company
4. Become knowledgeable on sales programs and be able to effectively communicate and sell those programs to your dealer base
5. Interact effectively with other departments of the company pertaining to information that either helps the company grow or prevents the company from loss
6. Resolve customer complaints/issues quickly

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office
3. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
4. Maintain a professional attitude at all times
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
6. Ability to close a sale over the phone

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

1. Working knowledge of tactical gear, firearms and related accessories
2. Organizational ability to manage and serve a large customer base

Working  Conditions and Requirements:

1. Office environment requiring sitting at a desk for extended periods
2. Computer keyboard order entry
3. Telephone operation including  handset and headset
4. Visual ability to read computers, catalogs, price lists
