PEET Dryer Renews as a Whitetails Unlimited National Sponsor

PEET Dryer, makers of the original boot dryer, is continuing as a Whitetails Unlimited national sponsor, said WTU President Jeff Schinkten. “For hunters and other outdoor enthusiasts, being cold and wet can ruin your experience. PEET has great products to keep gloves, hats, and boots dry and comfortable,” said Schinkten. “We’re proud that another of our long-time national sponsors is continuing their sponsorship with WTU.”

The PEET story started in 1968 in St. Maries, Idaho, when sportsman Gene Peet got fed up putting on wet boots to go hunting and invented his first footwear dryer. Friends and family saw it and begged for their own units. Seeing the demand, Peet started a business, literally on the kitchen table. From that humble start PEET Dryer now has a varied product line that includes dryers that are powered by not only regular household electricity, but also 12V car adapters, propane, and even 220V outlets. There are PEET models designed to dry boots and shoes, gloves and mittens, helmets, waders, hydration bladders, and gun safes. PEET also has a number of units that deodorize footwear.
