WEST POINT, MS- As the “official camo of conservation.” advocating for conservation initiatives and supporting conservation organizations has long been a corporate emphasis of the Mossy Oak family of companies. This Saturday, September 24th, Mossy Oak Properties, Inc. will lead the 4th annual Mossy Oak Properties “National Day of Conservation,” which will challenge Mossy Oak Properties’ network members, global Mossy Oak partners, and the general public to engage in conservation activities to serve the land and wildlife in their own way.

According to Mossy Oak Founder and CEO Toxey Haas, the Mossy Oak Properties National Day of Conservation is a way to further spread the message on conservation on a grassroots level, as well as challenge the outdoors community to take action.

“As my conservation mentor and father, ‘Mr. Fox,’ said best, the good that we all do lives long after we are gone,” said Haas. “As such, the Mossy Oak family lives by the belief that we are the first line for conservation initiatives. Our efforts surrounding our last two events symbolized that, and we look forward to making this year’s event even more impactful. As the past several years have revealed, it is that we truly live our best lives outdoors, and because of that we have a responsibility to take care of these special places.”

“As such, we challenge each of you to join us and take part in a conservation activity in your own way, then share your photos and videos on social media with us on September 24th using #dayofconservation,” said Haas. “It may be trash clean-up efforts on public land or waterways, planting trees or wildflowers, building bird boxes, or purchasing extra federal waterfowl or Mossy Oak Wild Turkey Conservation Stamps. Whatever you do can be impactful, and if we all do our part, we will create a tidal wave of positive conservation energy that will make a difference.”
