Change Black Friday to Outdoor Friday at Arizona State Parks and Trails

PHOENIX – Rethink your routine this November and choose to head outside on Black Friday at any of the amazing state parks across Arizona.

Arizona State Parks & Trails and REI have teamed up to encourage more people to take a new path this month by exploring one of your state parks to camp, hike, kayak, or just relax outdoors. To get you started, you can pick up a day-use pass for free entrance to many of the beautiful Arizona state parks. Just stop by an REI store in Flagstaff, Chandler, Paradise Valley, or Tucson from November 16-21 or at the Arizona State Parks & Trails Outdoor Recreation Information Center at I-17 and Pinnacle Peak Road Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learn more about how you can change it up this season!

Choose the parks this holiday season and do something different! Adventure and lasting memories await you on November 23. Anyone who visits an Arizona state park can post a photo on Facebook or Instagram @AZStateParks with the hashtag #OptOutside. Show us how you are choosing to #OptOutside!
