IHEA-USA Opens 2025 Annual Conference to All Hunter Education Volunteers Nationwide

The International Hunter Education Association-USA (IHEA-USA) is proud to announce that its 2025 Annual Conference, taking place May 12–15 on beautiful Jekyll Island, Georgia, will once again be open to all hunter education volunteer instructors across the country through a virtual attendance option.

Thanks to the generous support of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), this year’s conference will offer free online access to certified hunter education volunteers, ensuring that those who are dedicated to shaping the future of safe, ethical hunting have the opportunity to be part of IHEA-USA’s premier event—no matter where they are.

“Our volunteers are the heart of hunter education,” said Alex Baer, Executive Director of IHEA-USA. “We believe every instructor who dedicates their time to mentoring new hunters deserves a chance to stay connected, continue learning, and be part of our national conversation.”

Virtual attendees will enjoy live-streamed sessions, including keynote speakers, educational seminars, and even interactive events. The online experience will allow volunteers to engage with fellow instructors, industry leaders, and wildlife agency staff from across North America.

IHEA-USA invites all certified instructors to register for the FREE virtual conference experience today:
