Higdon Outdoors Acquires Clone Decoys and Silent Wings

Paducah, KY — Higdon Outdoors announced today the purchase of Clone Decoys and Silent Wings. Both brands will be fully integrated immediately into Higdon’s headquarters and operational facilities. The transaction closed on August 27, 2021.

Clone Decoys was founded in 2015 with the introduction of the revolutionary Clone family of motorized, lifelike flapping wing decoys. Clone has earned a reputation for the most effective waterfowl motion decoy systems available today and is trusted by outfitters and waterfowl enthusiasts across North America to deliver results on even the wariest ducks and geese.

Pioneer of layout blind design, Ron Latschaw, is one of the founding partners of Clone and creator of Silent Wings blinds. Silent Wings offers some of the most sought after concealment solutions for today’s most avid waterfowl hunters.

“We are proud to bring these innovative brands and products into our portfolio, and look forward to continuing the dedication to both quality and innovation Clone and Silent Wings were founded on,” commented John Higdon. “We are very excited to focus on continuing development of these premium product lines,” added Ben Higdon.
