This Week on Northwestern Outdoors Radio

This weekend on Northwestern Outdoors Radio we'll speak with Liz Hamilton, the Executive Director of the Northwest Sportfishing Industry Association, about rollbacks to Columbia River gillnetting reforms. The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission has done just that and Oregon is poised to do the same. This is a big issue for both sport anglers and conservationists concerned about the return of threatened stocks of salmon and steelhead up both the Columbia and Snake Rivers. On a happier note Jerrod Gibbons with Okanogan Valley Guide Service will steer you to some great lakes in North Central Washington for Kokanee you have probably never heard of and Lisa Brain with Casting for Recovery talks about all expense paid fly fishing retreats for breast cancer survivors. http://www.northwesternoutdoors.com/
