Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission committee meetings Nov. 2

Agenda includes potential changes to deer hunting on some public lands

FRANKFORT, KY— Members of the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission will conduct committee meetings starting at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern) Friday, Nov. 2, on the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources’ campus in Frankfort.

The agenda includes planned discussions about monthly financials, clarification of commercial guide license requirements, modifications to deer hunting on some public lands and access structures on buffer property at state-owned lakes.

What passes out of committee meetings will be heard by the full Commission at its next quarterly meeting on Dec. 7 in Frankfort.

The complete agenda for the committee meetings is available online at fw.ky.gov. A video replay of the committee meetings also will be posted online via the “Commission and Committee Meeting Archive” link on the department’s homepage.

The meetings will be held in the Arnold Mitchell Building on Kentucky Fish and Wildlife’s campus at 1 Sportsman’s Lane in Frankfort. The entrance is off U.S. 60, approximately 1½ miles west of U.S. 127.
