SCI Welcomes Utica Cutlery Company as its Newest Corporate Sponsors

Tucson, AZ - In addition to its all-important members, Safari Club International (SCI) truly counts on its corporate members to help in SCI’s mission to promote and protect hunting and wildlife conservation in North America and worldwide. As such, SCI is very happy to welcome Utica Cutlery Company, a specialty knifemaker, as its newest Corporate Sponsor.

“We are delighted that Utica Cutlery Company wanted to become a part of the SCI corporate family,” said W. Laird Hamberlin, CEO of SCI. “The company’s focus on American craftsmanship and quality make them a natural fit for SCI.”

In 1910, Utica Cutlery Company was founded in Utica, New York, and has been owned and operated by the same family for three generations. It is now the oldest continuous same-site knife manufacturer in the country.

“Over the years, Utica Cutlery has gone through many changes, none bigger than what is taking place recently when we relaunched the brand as Utica Cutlery Company,” says Randy Rae, director of marketing for Utica Cutlery Company’s Pocket Knife Division. “We are focused on bringing new cutting-edge styles and technologies to the ‘Made in USA’ and imported knives with an emphasis on American-made products.”

The Utica Cutlery Company branding will be found on a large assortment of categories, including hunting, tactical, survival, everyday carry, search and rescue, outdoor, collectible, RV/camping, fishing/marine, hardware, and removable blade. Utica Cutlery Company’s Kutmaster and Tools will also carry the Utica Cutlery Company brand.
