Whitetails Unlimited National Headquarters Closed

Whitetails Unlimited President Jeff Schinkten has announced that the Whitetails Unlimited national headquarters is closed, due to a state-wide “Safer At Home” order imposed by the Wisconsin governor, and field operations have been suspended across the country. This closing is scheduled to last through April 24, although that date may be modified by future events.

Schinkten released the following statement:

We hope everyone is remaining safe and healthy during this unprecedented time.

The health and safety of our employees is of paramount importance and we are complying with all regulations that have been put in place. While the national headquarters is located in Wisconsin, WTU has field directors in 19 states and all employees are complying with all local regulations.

We also want our members, friends, and supporters to know that we truly appreciate the support you have shown in the past for our mission of conservation, education, and the preservation of an American tradition, and we look forward to seeing you at a future WTU event – so take care of yourselves and your families.

We have retooled our operations and many employees are telecommuting to maintain operations as well as we can to be ready to hit the ground running when this threat to our health is over. And it will be over. Americans have always worked together to overcome immense obstacles, and I am confident that while this will not be easy, that by working together we will emerge as a great nation, accomplishing great things.

If you have tickets for an upcoming WTU event check our website for instructions for a refund, or to see if the event has been rescheduled.

Take care of yourselves and your families, and do what you can to help out anyone who may need it. This is a strange, difficult time, but things will get back to normal.
