Michigan Natural Resources Commission to meet June 13 in Royal Oak

The agenda for the Natural Resources Commission meeting, Thursday, June 13, 2019 has been posted to the Natural Resources Commission website at Michigan.gov/NRC. The meeting will be held at the Detroit Zoological Society, Ford Education Center Theater, 8450 West Ten Mile Road, Royal Oak. Please enter at gate 3.5, park near the Rackham Fountain Members entrance.

Those registering by 5 p.m. Friday, June 7, will be allowed up to five minutes to address the commission. Those registering after June 7, or at the meeting will be allowed up to three minutes. Registration cards also will be available at the meeting.


The Michigan Natural Resources Commission is a seven-member public body whose members are appointed by the Governor, subject to the advice and consent of the Senate. The commission conducts monthly public meetings in locations throughout Michigan. Citizens are encouraged to become actively involved in these public forums.

The commission has exclusive authority to regulate the taking of game and sport fish and is authorized to designate game species in Michigan.
