The adventure began in 1993 when Capt. Rick Murphy ran into an opportunity to host his own show. They would name the show Sportsman’s Adventures, feature Capt. Rick Murphy as its host, and gear it to the average Florida angler who wanted to learn more about their sport.

Now airing on Discovery, Pursuit and Fox Sports Sun networks, Sportsman’s Adventures not only features hot spots in Florida, it takes viewers right along with top guest anglers to exciting destinations.
