FN America Seeks Candidates for VP, Sales & Marketing

(McLean, VA) FN America, LLC is seeking a strong, motivated and engaged sales and marketing executive to fill the role of Vice President, Sales and Marketing. This individual will provide effective leadership and strategic direction to all sales and marketing activities to achieve profitable growth in the commercial and law enforcement trade channels.

This position is directly responsible for developing and executing a strategy to integrate sales and marketing to achieve the annual business plan specific to the commercial and law enforcement channels, including full responsibility of profit and loss (P&L) management related to gross sales and margin goals, and for management of all operational support costs. Additionally, this position will staff and lead a competent team to develop and achieve short and long-term integrated sales and marketing plans to support the company’s growth strategy.

The position’s primary responsibilities include:

·Driving implementation of strategic growth initiatives approved by the CEO.

·Developing and executing an integrated sales and marketing strategy that achieves the annual business plan specific to the commercial and law enforcement channels.

·Developing and executing new market expansion strategies that achieve FN America’s growth objectives, while protecting/expanding core market positions.

·Fostering effective strategic customer relationships to develop knowledge and understanding of requirements, needs, and funding while promoting FN America’s products.

·Assessing anticipated external and internal factors associated with customers, competitors, markets, and FN America itself that impact company strategy and implementation.

·Implementing effective sales methods and manages multiple selling strategies, direct and indirect, and through distribution and channel partners.

·Designing and implementing product sales and sales support programs (promotions and pricing) to develop and grow existing and new markets that achieve the annual business plan; in collaboration with marketing department and branding initiatives. Reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates.

Position requirements and desired qualifications include:

·10-15 years of executive level sales and marketing leadership experience with heavy emphasis on successfully building and deploying a strategy to increase profitable revenue. This includes developing and delivering on gross sales and margin goals according to sales forecast.

·Track record of leading a sophisticated sales and marketing organization in the firearms or broadly defined sporting goods or outdoor recreation industry. Consistently leads top performing teams, meeting or exceeding annual revenue and profits goals.

·Previous experience personally developing short and long-range sales support programs targeted toward existing and new markets and leading direct reports through the same process.

·Significant experience developing and implementing customer and product sales strategies and promotions and pricing strategies in collaboration with marketing department and branding initiatives.

·Previous responsibility for directing channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals. Able to analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales. Previous experience advising dealers, distributors and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
