South Dakota — Join Melissa Bachman on Winchester Deadly Passion on one of her more intense hunts, predator calling black bear in Alaska. Bachman meets up with a local friend, Dick Stewart, and they reserve a forest service cabin for the length of hunt, which makes the trip a little more comfortable.

“Just like in any type of hunting, you can sit for a long hours glassing and calling. You have to stay diligent and stay out there, things can change in an instant,” said Bachman. “On our last day, we knew we had to continue working hard and putting in our time. Finally, we spotted a black bear on the shore flipping rocks and eating crabs and knew this was our chance.”
