Edmonton, Alberta- May 17th, 2022- Wild TV, the number one Numeris-rated outdoor programming provider in Canada*, announced today that their long-standing relationship with content partner Marc McNay will continue into 2023. This continuation of the Meck Distribution and Wild TV content partnership provides fans with new episodes starting this summer. Then another new season of ‘The Real Deal’ is scheduled for January 2023.

The feedback we’ve received from the fans of this show is that they love the production style in that there are no frills, no staged scenes, and the hunters featured are a salt-of-the-earth type of people, just like them. Our appreciation for ‘The Real Deal’ team grows with each year that passes. They truly are amazing folks to work with!”

McNay, the founder of ‘The Real Deal’, also commented on working with Wild TV:

“In almost 10 years of working with Wild TV, the industry has notably changed. Both of our businesses have grown to meet the demands of an evolving online market in a supportive and positive working relationship together. Airing on Wild TV has been a natural fit for ‘The Real Deal’. Real life outdoors people watch the network, follow and interact with ‘The Real Deal’ stories as they would their own neighbour’s hunts. Our relatable ‘Real Deal’ image is brought right into these viewers’ homes and mobile devices easily by airing on Wild TV.”

About The Real Deal

A few years ago, ‘The Real Deal’ participated in a reality TV show called ‘The Search’. Although they were the smallest team with the smallest budget, they still managed to come in 2nd place, and due to their “extreme professionalism” they were asked to produce their very own full season TV show. As they enter their 9th year of filming, they still carry the same values they started with in the very beginning. They produce a real-life TV show without any staged scenes, creating a show with high standards and a show that the public can relate to. Their experienced team will continue to showcase a variety of outdoor activities from across North America including trapping, fishing, outfitted hunts, as well as private personal hunts. ‘The Real Deal’ team takes great pride in capturing real life hunts, just as they happen. They really are the guys and girls next door. They work hard, and play hard, and they share their adventures with their viewers exactly as they unfold.
