SAR USA by Sarsilmaz Unveils New Products for 2020
Auburn, AL- March 13, 2020 - SAR USA by Sarsilmaz, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of firearms, is pleased to announce their new product offerings for 2020. SAR USA by Sarsilmaz may not be the first firearms manufacturer that comes to mind for shooting sports enthusiasts in the states. However, Sarsilmaz is one of the foremost manufacturers of small arms worldwide.
Located in Istanbul, Turkey, Sarsilmaz has been producing sporting and military-grade firearms since 1880. Today, the company is a privately-owned provider of firearms for the Turkish National Police and armed forces as well as many NATO allies. A few years ago, when the Turkish Army announced it was considering a replacement for the standard issue pistols, Sarsilmaz stepped up to the plate by producing a pistol that could compete with models provided by well-known brands around the world. In a comprehensive course of NATO mandated testing, Sarsilmaz competed against top manufacturers from Austria, Germany, Belgium, and others, and the SAR 9 pistol won.
“The last year has been a whirlwind. We have restructured the company as well as moved it to Alabama. We have all the pieces in place to have a GREAT year. As you know, new products are the lifeblood of any company and boy do we have a lot of exciting new products coming!” said Todd Pearson, COO of SAR USA. “We have a lot of new products scheduled to arrive in late March.”
For 2020, SAR USA will offer four new 9x19 / 9mm pistol lines: the P8 family of hammer-fired pistols, the model 2000 hammer-fired pistol, the K12 Sport and Sport X hammer-fired pistols, and the SAR9 X Platinum striker-fired pistol. The B6 line of pistols will have new color options including Flat Dark Earth and OD Green frames. In addition, SAR USA will offer a compact version of the K 245 hammer-fired pistol.
Also slated for 2020 is a complete line of high-quality shotguns, loaded with features, that are sure to be on every shotgunner’s wish list. The line-up includes the Vertu 12ga inertial operated semi-automatic, the Magic 12ga field and slug models, the SA-W family of 12/20ga models, and the SA-X 700 R 12ga slug gun, and all are gas operated semi-auto shotguns. Rounding off the shotgun lineup is the SP family and Platinum over/under 12ga shotgun models.
