Registration Open for Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship

Registration for the 2019 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Now Open

SAN ANTONIO, TX - Registration is now open for the 14th annual BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops. This year, every university/college will be allowed to send up to 3 boats to the Championship. This year's premier collegiate event will be held on Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama and will feature a week-long schedule of activities for the collegiate anglers who've traveled from across the nation to compete.

Known as one of the largest and most prestigious collegiate bass fishing events in the nation, the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is a title coveted by anglers both nationally and internationally.

"It's hard to believe that we're hosting our 14th BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops. This event is the one that all college anglers want to win and they're willing to travel from around the nation to get to Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama. The week-long event is always a highlight of the year with companies from the fishing industry all coming together to support the event as well while having angler appreciation nights, banquets and more," said Association of Collegiate Anglers Director and President of CarecoTV, Wade Middleton.

As the final Bass Pro Shops School of the Year event of the 2018-2019 season, the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and the Association of Collegiate Anglers are excited to offer collegiate anglers the opportunity to compete on Pickwick Lake for the chance to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes, as well as major points for the most prestigious title in all of college fishing. The Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia will be awarded to the school earning the most points over the season while competing in a variety of collegiate bass fishing events.
