‘Beretta Challenge’ at 2020 NSCA National Championship

(Accokeek, MD) Beretta is excited to announce that the 3rd annual ‘Beretta Challenge’ competition will be taking place at this week’s 2020 NSCA Nationals in San Antonio, TX. Reinventing the Super Sporting event sponsored by Beretta in previous years, this annual competition is the result of a collaboration with our senior Team Beretta shooters and the NSCA executive staff.

The purpose of the Beretta Challenge, an enhanced version of the established Super Sporting event, is to create a new and exciting competition course, even for the most experienced shooters.

Beretta has developed a course that showcases additional challenging traps and specific stations that incorporate different targets that our team shooters have identified as their most challenging to shoot.

These challenging targets will be thrown from 4 different stations that are identified by life-size banners of our senior team members, which include Diane Sorantino, Anthony Matarese, Desirae Edmunds, and Zachary Kienbaum.

Approximately 1,136 competitors will compete during this week-long competition as they attempt to rise to the challenge of this reinvented event.

The shooters who beat the Team Beretta designated targets will be entered into a daily drawing for a chance to win a prize presented by Beretta.

On the last day of competition, all of the individual competitors who conquer any of these four stations will be entered into a final drawing for the chance to win a Beretta M9A3 Black pistol (Type F, 3-17rd) and assorted accessories.

An ultimate grand prize will be randomly selected from all entrants of this event, and one male and one female competitor will both receive a Beretta 694 shotgun, Beretta’s newest over-and-under competition model developed and tested in collaboration with some of the world’s top sporting clay shooters. This new shotgun was designed to match a shooter’s passion for the sport with a reliable and accurate competition shotgun.
