(Accokeek, MD) Team Beretta shooter, Joseph Fanizzi, recently achieved podium honors in 6 different events at two regional competitions.
Fanizzi joined Team Beretta as a junior team member at the end of last year and has recently begun competing with his new Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition shotgun.
At last week’s 2019 Krieghoff Classic, Fanizzi attained 4 podium honors in the Main, 5-Stand, Preliminary, and Super Sporting events in the sub-junior category.
Fanizzi topped the podium in the main event with a score of 188 targets out of 200, beating his nearest competitor by 21 targets.
He also won two additional top honors in the 5-Stand and Preliminary events and a runner-up podium finish in the Super Sporting event with scores of 91/100 and 43/50 targets, respectively.
This past weekend, Fanizzi attended the 2019 Caribbean Classic and obtained two sub-junior champion honors in the main and 5-Stand events with scores of 180 out 200 targets and 44 out of 50 targets, respectively.
Fanizzi will join the rest of his teammates at the upcoming 2019 Gator Cup competition, which is held at the Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee, FL from February 12-17, 2019.
