Sponsorships are still available, including the “Heroes Sponsorship” that covers the participation of First Responders and Military Service Member squads. Hinkley Allen, Vertikal6, and Drum Rock Products are the cigar, music and refreshments sponsors.

“The Narragansett Council has been providing quality programs to the youth of our communities for more than century,” said Scout Executive Tim McCandless.  “These programs initiates a Scout’s inner character, work ethic and values. That lasts a lifetime.” Proceeds support building sustainable impact in Southeastern New England‘s  numerous Scouting programs.

“Scouts learn to seize opportunities and follow their passions. It’s a space where kids progressively gain leadership by being encouraged to make decisions. Facing challenges and persisting through adversity is a critical skill. We start that process by asking where Scouts want to camp and what would they like to eat?” Added Rick Norberg, a Narragansett Council Board Member, and CEO of Vertikal6.

“For many kids, Scouting is the first place where they get to shoot,” said Earl Minot, Narragansett Council Shooting Sports Chairman. “So many Scouts say shooting BBs, Shotguns and Rifles are the highlight of summer camp. We teach them how to utilize guns as a tool safely too. This has allowed Scouting to serve as an excellent recruiting source for law enforcement and the Armed Forces, for which we are extremely proud.”
