Phoenix, AZ (March 14, 2019) - Who among us doesn't enjoy grilling? Whether it be for the family, having a few friends over for a weekend of food and fun, or a big block party, when there's food involved, it's always better when it's been cooked outdoors on the grill.
Today, more and more grillers are putting their charcoal, electric and gas grill aside and taking it to the next level with a wood pellet grill. Pellet grills have been around for more than 30 years, but their popularity has experienced a resurgence in recent years. With that resurgence, Pit Boss has taken the lead as the fastest growing brand in the industry.
Why are so many people making the switch? The primary reason is simple: flavor. A pellet grill burns hardwood pellets that are typically made from woodbyproducts. These are not the same type of pellets used in home heating systems. BBQ pellets, like those made by Pit Boss, are comprised of all-natural wood found in northern regions of the US. These premium pellets feature no chemical additives, fillers or glues. The result is rich, savory, smoke-infused foods.
The next greatest benefit is the simple operation. Automatically start up, and shut down your Pit Boss with the full function LED digital control center. Pit Boss grills use fan-forced convection cooking to perfect any BBQ experience. This system circulates air for a consistent temperature throughout the cooking chamber, and a digital control board allows you to set the cooking temperature from 180 degrees to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, creating a versatile environment for grilling, roasting, smoking, braising, and even baking. Pit Boss grills allow the user an 8-in-1 cooking experience, unlike anything offered before. You can go low and slow and smoke a brisket, or open the flame broiler and sear a steak directly over the flame. With the option of direct, or in-direct grilling, the possibilities are literally - endless. The same convection system that circulates air also circulates the smoke, so the wood-fired flavor is infused into every bite.
And cleanup? Pit Boss's 100 percent all-natural hardwood pellets will burn into less than 1 percent of ash. That means you can burn through a 40 pound bag of pellets and have only a ½ cup of ash left over. Talk about clean burning! With heavy-duty steel construction, Pit Boss grills are built to last and are backed by a best in class 5 year warranty.
You can find Pit Boss grills at retailers everywhere, from Lowe's, Menard's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply Co., Cabela's, Academy Sports, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Costco, Walmart, and more. You can even find them at Amazon.com. And with the best value per square inch in the grilling industry, Pit Boss really is the Bigger. Hotter. Heavier. grill on the market today.

Hunter Safety System Renews as a Whitetails Unlimited National Sponsor
Whitetails Unlimited President Jeff Schinkten has announced that Hunter Safety System has renewed as a WTU national sponsor. “Since Whitetails Unlimited began we have made safety while hunting a central part of our education mission, and Hunter Safety System is the industry leader in safety gear and products,” said Schinkten. “I’m proud that Hunter Safety System is continuing with their national sponsorship. Together we will continue to promote the message of being safe while hunting.”
Hunter Safety System was created two decades ago as a result of a relative’s fall from a tree stand. While there were no serious injuries in that incident, John and Jerry Wydner set out to develop and market an affordable, reliable, and well-made safety harness that would be comfortable enough for hunters to use every time they were in an elevated stand. Hunter Safety System now has multiple models of harnesses, including specific models for hanging stands, bowhunters, and crossbow hunters. They also have harnesses that incorporate odor-control technology, and a full line of lifelines and accessories to make hunting safer.
