The new Lakewood C283 is specifically designed to provide a protective fit for the compact designs of the modern-day Ravin and TenPoint crossbows. The C283 utilizes Lakewood’s soft-sided hard case design where impact-resistant sheets of ABS plastic are encased in foam and then custom fitted with a protective outer layer of drag-proof ballistic nylon. That unique soft-sided hard case design makes the C283 — like all Lakewood cases — the perfect back-of-the-truck bow case, but with TSA- and airline-compliant materials and construction, these cases are the ultimate companion for any type of travel, from the back of the truck to the backcountry. Lightweight and easy-to-pack, the C283 provides better protection than a conventional soft case with greater convenience than a traditional hard case.

Inside the case, users will find blocks of high-density foam lining the interior and form-fitted to perfectly cradle the narrow profiles of Ravin and TenPoint crossbows. Unlike other hard-sided crossbow cases, which are bulky, offer an awkward fit and open like a book (thereby requiring a lot of space to fully open), the C283 features a user-friendly drop-in design. Streamlined and compact, the C283 measures 36 inches long by 12 ¾ inches wide by 16 inches high.

The C283 comes with multiple transport options, including a shoulder strap, dual carry straps and a rubberized end handle that, along with the included wheel kit, allows users to easily roll the case. The C283 is available as a standalone case and as a combo kit that includes crossbow arrow and accessory cases custom-sized to seamlessly nest into the case’s interior compartments.
