The ideal candidate has the ability to find creative ways to grow the company’s ecommerce business byworking both independently and with editorial team members.

Caribou Media publishes books and magazines in both digital and print formats. The company’s online store, gundigeststore.com, sells company-produced products along with partner products from third-party companies.

Duties include:

- Work with editorial team to market products via emails, newsletters and web site promotions

- Prospect for new products to increase store offerings

- Collaborate with manufacturers on offers for custom products that appeal to the company’s core customers

- Build attractive product presentations within the online store

- Manage inventory and forecast future inventory needs

Requirements:

- Three or more years of e-commerce job experience

- Ability to craft clear marketing messages

- Email list management experience

- Comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices

- Ability to work with common e-commerce and analytics software

- Previous experience in the firearms, outdoors and/or knife industries a plus
