September 2019 – American Defense Manufacturing (ADM) is pleased to announce the Tustin Police Department (Orange County, CA) has selected the UIC Mod 1 LE 16” rifle system as their standard issue rifle. The Tustin Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency with roughly 100 sworn officers patrolling a population of almost 80,000 within the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area.

The American Defense Mfg UIC Mod 1 rifle combines premium components, accurate Rosco® Manufactured barrels, and dependability that law enforcement agencies can count on day after day. It provides officers with full ambidextrous controls to include charging handle, safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch and release to improve the usability whether left or right handed. Each rifle was outfitted with an Aimpoint® CompM5, Surefire® M600 Dual Fuel flashlight, and muzzle device. Optics and lights are complimented with ADM patented QD levered mounts.

In addition, American Defense Mfg is committed to supporting agencies beyond the sale by providing immediate, temporary replacement of any American Defense Mfg rifle used in a critical incident and taken out of service for evidentiary purposes. American Defense’s “Ready Reserve” Program provides immediate, temporary replacement of any ADM rifle that is destroyed in the line of duty in order to reduce department disruption and maintain 100% stock in the department’s armory.
