Hey parents – if you’re good maybe your kids will take you fishing this weekend?

Head out for the second annual Take an Adult Fishing Day in Michigan this Saturday, August 4! We use this day to encourage youths to take an adult fishing – rather than waiting around to be asked to go.

Empower the kids in your life to find a spot to go (maybe through our Family Friendly Fishing Waters website), gather the appropriate gear, and head out! 

If you go fishing on August 4 share your experience on social media with the hashtag #TakeAnAdultFishing. Afterwards we’ll select a few random winners to receive a fishing gear prize, just for participating!
