FWP South-Central Montana Citizen Advisory Committee to Meet November 18

The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 5 Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Billings FWP office (2300 Lake Elmo Dr.). The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. and is anticipated to end at 4 p.m. CAC meetings are open to the public.

At the November meeting, FWP will present on the new license ambassador program, proposed 2026/2027 hunting regulations, and provide an update on the river recreation program. FWP game wardens will also provide an overview of a Bull Mountains poaching case.

Every CAC meeting also includes a member roundtable discussion, during which members can express concerns and ideas from their area and constituents.

The CAC is a general advisory committee that provides input and feedback to FWP on diverse issues, from wildlife and fisheries management to access, state parks, outdoor recreation, and law enforcement. The committee is designed to have a membership that represents a variety of Montana communities and natural resource interests.
