Warren Ranch Gold-Level Sponsor of 2018 Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt

LARAMIE, WY- The Warren Ranch have committed to a gold-level sponsorship for the 2018 Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt, hosted by the Wyoming Women's Foundation (WYWF). Located near Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Warren Ranch is best known for carrying on the name of the Warren Livestock company and its long-standing presence in Wyoming.

Susan and Doug Samuelson, owners of the Warren Ranch, have been supporters of the event since the hunt's inception in 2013. The Samuelson's recognize the impact of the event to affect change for women and girls across Wyoming while still preserving what makes Wyoming unique.

"Warren Ranch is happy to sponsor activities that support the people and conservation of the state of Wyoming," Susan Samuelson said, "The Wyoming Women's Foundation accomplishes both of those goals with the Wyoming Women's Antelope hunt. We are proud that Wyoming hosts such a premier event for women."

This year's hunt will be held Oct. 11-14, 2018 and bring together more than 40 female hunters from across the nation at the Ranch at Ucross in northeast Wyoming for a weekend of hunting, learning, mentorship and camaraderie, as well as raising funds and awareness for the Wyoming Women's Foundation. Since inception, the hunt has raised more than $345,000 for special projects to help women and girls work toward economic self-sufficiency across Wyoming.

"Support from Wyoming businesses like the Warren Ranch year after year is helping build the Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt into a strong Wyoming tradition that puts our state on the map for hunters across the country," said Rebekah Smith, WYWF Program Director. "The Samuelsons share our understanding of how special Wyoming is, and the opportunity WYWF has to invest in its future by investing in women and families-both through teaching them to hunt and by making grants to programs throughout the year."

Please visit the Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt webpage at wyomingwomensantelopehunt.org for more information on sponsorship and individual participation, including scholarships. Based on its level contribution, each sponsor has the opportunity to invite women to hunt at the event. The foundation is also seeking dinner sponsors and in-kind donations for its fundraising auctions on Oct. 12.
