HILLSDALE, Mich. – Zachary Jones and Albert Fiori, both of the United States, topped the podium at the 2025 Hillsdale College World Shooting Para Sport (WSPS) Grand Prix on June 26 in Hillsdale, Michigan at the John A. Halter Shooting Sports Center.

The competitions welcomed athletes from across the U.S. and Canada, showcasing top talent in Para Trap Shooting.

After 125 targets in the qualification round, the top six athletes advanced to the finals where the top finishers in each classification earned medals.

Jones earned gold in PT1 Mixed Trap Seated, while Fiori claimed the top spot in PT3 Mixed Trap Standing Upper Limb.

Fiori shot an impressive final, finishing first ahead of Sophia Bultema, of the U.S., who earned silver in PT3. Steven Neuman, also of the U.S., rounded out the PT3 podium with bronze.

Jones, who also advanced to the final, was joined on the PT1 podium by Tony Kim, of Canada, who earned silver, and Ryan Harrison, of the U.S., who claimed bronze.

Additionally, Zeren Yu, of Canada, took home gold in PT2 Mixed Trap Standing Lower Limb based on his overall qualification score.

The competition featured many seasoned competitors, including Fiori and Bultema. Fiori, a seasoned international shooter, earned bronze at the 2024 Emir Cup in Italy. Bultema, who competes for the Hillsdale College Shotgun Team, is no stranger to international shooting scene. She has represented the U.S. at multiple WSPS Para Trap World Championships, earning bronze in Mixed Trap Team at the 2021 event. Jones has shared the international stage with Bultema, competing alongside her at several WSPS World Championships.
