Wildlife Commission to hold Public Hearing in Rocky Mount on Jan. 23

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will conduct a public hearing in Rocky Mount on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. to accept comments on proposed changes to agency regulations related to wildlife management, inland fisheries and game lands for the 2020-2021 seasons. The public hearing will be held at Nash Community College at 522 N. Old Carriage Rd. in Rocky Mount.

The comment period for the proposed regulations will run through Jan. 31, 2020. Comments may be submitted online, at the public hearing, emailed (including full name and address) to regulations@ncwildlife.org or mailed (including full name and address) to:

After collecting and considering all public comments, the Commission will discuss and vote on proposed changes at their February business meeting. Approved proposals will take effect Aug. 1, 2020.
