Beretta Displays New Shotguns at SHOT Show

(Accokeek, MD) Beretta is excited to display several new hunting and sporting clays shotguns at this week’s 2020 SHOT Show from January 21-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Previously debuted last year at various events, Beretta released the Beretta 694, a brand-new over-and-under competition shotgun, and a redesigned model of the popular 686 Silver Pigeon I, available in both field and sporting configurations.

Visitors to the Beretta booth (#13956) during this week-long convention will have the opportunity to discover these new shotguns and speak with product experts and Beretta Team ambassadors to learn more about the product features.

Beretta 694

Created specifically for clay shooting, the new Beretta 694 over-and-under platform was designed and tested in collaboration with the Beretta Shooting Team with the objective to match a shooter’s passion for the sport with a reliable and accurate competition shotgun.

The ergonomics of the stock have been completely redesigned to reduce the presence of obstacles in the field of view when shouldering the gun and the need for lifting the head to better track the lower target. The 694 showcases a slightly decreased drop, improved checkering on the safety, and a wider comb for an improved face placement regardless of the shooting position.

The redesigned, self-adjustable auget button reduces movement of forend over time and reduces the surface area that may get overheated during long days on the range.

The pistol grip has been designed with an aggressive checkering and increased surface area that guarantees the best possible grip and a better hand position. The steel top lever features a new, low profile and an anti-glare finish and has been designed to be ergonomic and easy to operate for both right and left-handed shooters.

The 694 is available in a 12 gauge caliber and 30” or 32” barrel lengths, with or without the adjustable B-Fast stock, and retails for an MSRP of $4,500.

Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I

Built on the venerable 680 platform, the 686 Silver Pigeon is Beretta’s most popular over-and-under shotgun. Its unmistakable low action and ultra-reliable mechanisms have made this gun a favorite with hunters all over the world since its inception.

This new version features upgraded Steelium Optima HP® barrels (MobilChoke for the 28 and .410 gauge field configurations) and a deeper, more lustrous engraving on each side of the action. The theme, created by Beretta’s Master Engravers, takes the form of an elegant floral motif, embellished with images reflective of the region, such as leaves and grapes on the vine. This new laser engraving extends to the action release, making it more visually appealing as well as providing perfect grip during use.

The pistol grip, stock, and forend of the new 686 Silver Pigeon I are manufactured from selected, oil-finished walnut and are finely chequered for improved grip, even in the rain. The stock is available with a 36.5/57.5 mm drop in both the right and left-handed versions. Additionally, the forend is available in a Schnabel or rounded version. The MicroCore® recoil pad ensures comfortable, accurate shouldering, and safe, stable support when shooting.

The new 686 Silver Pigeon I Field is available is 12, 20, 28, and .410 gauges with 26”, 28” and 30” barrels and retails for an MSRP of $2,250. The sporting configuration is available in 12 and 20 gauge with 30” and 32” barrels and retails for an MSRP of $2,350.
