Off-Road Adventure Ready with Steve Nessl of Yamaha

Fact: Studies suggest that the average American spends 93% of their life indoors - 87% of that is indoors in a building and another 6% in automobiles. That means only 7% of your entire life is spent outdoors. That translates to just one half of one day per week outdoors.

Spending time outdoors doesn’t seem to be a priority for many Americans but it’s important. The health benefits are endless as are the benefits of reconnecting with family and friends and building relationships, disconnecting from technology and reestablishing a bond with nature. How do we go about getting more people outdoors? There are a lot of ways, however ATV’s and Side-by-Side’s provide a fun recreational experience that can be enjoyed by all. Steve Nessl, Yamaha Motorsports Group Marketing Manager joins The Revolution this week to talk about the awesome new ways Yamaha is making the outdoor experience more accessible and exciting for everyone.

Offshore Fishing with the VooDoo Crew

This week we’re headed south for a little charter fishing in Venice, Louisiana. Tuna, dolphin, marlin, wahoo and more – the crew of VooDoo Fishing Charters in Venice, Louisiana does it all. This week, Trey Pique, owner of VooDoo Fishing Charters joins The Revolution to talk fishing and their all-new show “VooDoo Crew” airing Mondays at 7:00 pm ET on Outdoor Channel.

Spring Bear & Hogs with Travis “T-Bone” Turner

It’s all about the boars – both bears and hogs. This week on The Revolution Travis “T-Bone” Turner joins us to talk archery spring bear hunting as well as smoking a sounder of feral hogs. He’ll talk field judging bears at the bait sight, explain why patience and unrushed shots are key as well as highlight the often misleading physique of a bear to better understand proper shot placement. He’ll also tackle thermal image hunting for hogs and explain just how these highly adaptable porkers are poised to take over more and more territory in the United States.

Alligators & Hogs: Turn ‘Em Red with Kip Campbell

Big game seasons may be months away still, however that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything for hunters to do right now. Kip Campbell is the host of “Red Arrow” on Outdoor Channel, Thursdays at 8:30 pm ET and he joins The Revolution this week to talk gators and hogs. He’ll highlight the excitement from a recent Florida alligator hunt where he took a highly aggressive 12-foot alligator out of a 10-foot jon boat. He’ll also talk hog hunting and the proper gear required to effectively knock down big tough boars, listen in!
