The hunt took place on February 9-10 throughout the state of Arkansas. Mack’s Prairie Wings hosted the competition and each team consisted of 10 members. All geese were donated to Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry and all the proceeds were donated to Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, and Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry.

The hunt was organized in an effort to help control the snow geese population that are destroying the Arkansas habitat, ecosystems, and other wildlife found there.
