Fish Monkey Congratulates MLF Pros

Destin, FL- Fish Monkey, the world’s most popular and highest performing fishing glove brand, congratulates two of its many professional bass anglers. During the recent Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour Toro Stage Four on Lake Guntersville, Alabama, Fish Monkey pro angler Jacob Wall finished in second place and Randall Tharp finished in ninth place overall.


Wall, from New Hope, Alabama, has now amassed 13 top-10 tournament finishes in his professional angling career, and has fished professionally since 2018. He earned $45,000 for the second-place finish. Tharp, from Port Saint Joe, Florida, took home $19,000 for his efforts in making the top 10 in the tournament. He now has an incredible 41 top-10 tournament finishes and is one of only two anglers competing on the Bass Pro Tour with both a Forrest Wood Cup trophy and a Bassmaster Elite Series title to their credit.

Toro Stage Four at Lake Guntersville Presented by Bass Cat Boats featured pros competing using the MLF catch, weigh, immediate-release format, with each angler’s five heaviest bass per day tallied as their day’s weight. Anglers strive to catch their heaviest five fish each day, while also feeling the pressure and intensity of the live scoring leaderboard. Overall, there were 77 scorable bass weighing 253 pounds, 11 ounces caught by nine pros Sunday.

The six-day event showcased a field of 80 of the top professional anglers in the world, competing for a purse of more than $805,000, including a top payout of $100,000 and valuable Angler of the Year points in hopes of qualifying for the General Tire Heavy Hitters All-Star event and Redcrest 2024, the Bass Pro Tour championship.
