Team Beretta Shooters Excel at 2019 Seminole Cup

Accokeek, MD — Team Beretta shooters recently achieved 10 podium honors in 5 different events at last week’s 2019 Seminole Cup in Woodbine, GA.

Team Beretta members in attendance at this competition included Zachary Kienbaum, Desirae Edmunds, Diane Sorantino, and Joseph Fanizzi.

Kienbaum, who shoots with a standard Beretta DT11, topped the podium as the 2019 Seminole Cup HOA champion in the main event with an remarkable score of 198 targets out of 200, besting his nearest competitor by 2 targets.

Edmunds, who shoots with a Beretta DT11 L, secured a ladies champion podium honor in the main event with a score of 182 out of 200 targets. She also achieved two additional ladies champion honors in both of the preliminary events with scores of 88/100 and 80/100, respectively.

Sorantino, Team Beretta captain, obtained a ladies champion podium honor in the FITASC event with a score of 84 out of 100 targets, beating her nearest competitor by a margin of just 1 target. She also achieved a ladies third-place finish in the main event with a score of 178 targets out of 200.

Fanizzi, a junior team member, topped the podium in the FITASC event as both the HOA and junior champion with an exceptional score of 98 out of 100 targets. Fanizzi, shooting with a Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition, also secured a sub-junior runner-up finish in the main event, a sub-junior champion podium honor in the 5-Stand event, and a sub-junior third-place podium finish in the Friday preliminary event with scores of 187/200, 47/50, and 88/100, respectively.

Team Beretta shooters will continue their season at the upcoming 2019 ISSF World Cup in Acapulco, Mexico from March 15-March 26, 2019 and the 2019 ACUI Collegiate Clay Targets Championship at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, TX from March 25-March 30, 2019.
