Season finale of 'Ask the DNR' to air Thursday on WNMU-TV13

Staffers from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources are set to answer viewer questions live Thursday night on the 2021-2022 season finale of “Ask the DNR” on WNMU-TV13.

Panelists from the DNR scheduled to appear on the broadcast include Cory Kovacs, fisheries biologist, Newberry, wildlife biologist Ryan McGillivray, Norway and conservation Anna Viau, Iron County.

“Thursday night’s show will be another opportunity to get questions on a wide range of topics answered by some of our experienced DNR staffers,” said John Pepin, DNR deputy public information officer in Marquette. “As always, it should be a fun and educational evening.”

The hour-long program, hosted by Mike Settles, will air live at 8 p.m. EDT, Thursday, May 5. The program will be available later online, where WNMU-TV13 archives past shows.

Viewers are reminded to leave their name, city and phone number when calling in questions. Those questions not answered on the air will be answered by DNR staffers in returned phone calls following the program.

“Ask the DNR” will return to WNMU-TV13 for a new season in the fall.
