PHOENIX – Get ready to take camping to a new level with the brand-new cabins now taking reservations for stays after December 1 at Lake Havasu State Park! An open house will be held on Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park.

The new camping cabins are located with the best views in the park, right on the shore of the Colorado River, and each have space to sleep up to six people, with a fire ring, picnic table, ramada, fire pit, and white-sand beach right outside. Although these are dry cabins, brand-new restroom facilities are located just steps away. Plus, the solar cooling and heating makes your stay comfortable any time of year!

A special introductory rate of $89 per night will be in place for cabin stays between November 8 and January 31, 2020. Each cabin also has an adjacent RV site with hookups available for $30 per night. Four of the cabins are ADA-compliant, as are nearby restrooms which also include an adult changing station. The cabins will be available for stays during the soft launch November 8-30 by calling the park directly.

Arizona's state parks provide perfect destinations for family camping adventures without the need for an RV or tent.
