Gourmet Chips & Sauces Bring A Spicy Twist to the Traditional Holiday Ham

Montreal, Quebec, Canada (November 29, 2021) -A Christmas ham is one of those old school traditions that has stuck around for centuries for a reason. It is a true hallmark of the holiday season, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay totally traditional. Why not spice it up a bit this holiday season?

While the tradition of the ham is suggested to have begun amongst the Germanic and Norse people as a tribute to Freyr, a god for whom the pig was sacred, it later grew to become synonymous with Christian Christmas celebrations and the tradition of eating ham was passed along with it and continues today. As this yuletide festival continues and families set traditions and change traditions, Gourmet Chips and Sauces would like to introduce you to two new mouthwatering recipes to consider this year for your holiday ham.

The recipes, very different in flavor and style, but equally delicious, can be prepared in a traditional oven, convection oven or in a smoker. They feature some of the company’s most popular condiments and sauces. Your dinner guests will be delightfully surprised, coming back for seconds and begging for your secret recipe.
