Williamsburg, KY – Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) has announced that Danny Hubble will serve as the new Tennessee State Conservation Coordinator. In this role, Danny will collaborate closely with his wife, Amy Hubble, Tennessee S3DA State Coordinator, to design and implement conservation initiatives that connect S3DA members with the natural world. He will work to educate communities on how S3DA bridges the gap between competitive archery and conservation, while also creating opportunities for hands-on, outdoor activities at Tennessee S3DA events.
For Danny, the appointment is more than a professional role – it’s a lifelong passion.
“I’ve loved the outdoors for as long as I can remember,” Danny said. “Some of my best memories as a kid were made fishing with my dad along the banks of a little creek. That’s where my passion for wildlife really started.”
While fishing came early, hunting entered the picture in his late teens when he met Amy, whose family introduced him to the sport. At 20, Danny harvested his first deer – a milestone that cemented his love for the outdoors.
Over the years, Danny has developed a deep passion for helping others share in those experiences. He’s guided many first time-hunters, including each of his three children – Derek, Dylan, and Kinley – through their first successful harvests. “There’s something really special about being part of that moment when someone gets their first deer, especially when it’s your own kids,” Danny said. “It’s not just about the harvest – it’s about the experience, the time together, and the respect for nature.”
As Conservation Coordinator, Danny plans to bring together the competitive spirit of S3DA events and the values of conservation to inspire participants of all ages. Whether introducing young archers to wildlife management, incorporating habitat education into tournaments, or leading outdoor skill workshops, Danny hopes to make conservation a natural part of the S3DA experience.
“I truly believe conservation and competitive outdoor sports can work hand in hand,” he said. “Whether it’s through archery events, youth programs, or habitat preservation, my goal is to make the outdoors accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for generations to come.”

About Scholastic 3-D Archery
Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic
3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA youth participate in 3D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Youth members can participate at regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of youth archers.
