With Host Mario Kalpou of Fan Favorite Series “Man Eats Wild”

In United Plates, Kalpou hits the road in a custom-built RV, courtesy of Jayco RV, to hunt, cook, and taste his way through the country’s most iconic dishes. From Texas BBQ pits to Louisiana crawfish boils, Kalpou immerses himself in the rich culinary heritage of America, connecting with locals and uncovering the stories behind each meal.

Born in Australia, Kalpou’s love for nature and food began at an early age, splitting his time between his father’s farm and his mother’s family of culinary professionals. After a successful career as a restaurateur, earning accolades like Zagat 3 Hats and Belle Awards, Kalpou traded the bustling restaurant scene for the great outdoors. He opened an extreme-adventure lodge in New Zealand, where he honed his skills as a professional guide and deepened his connection to wild food. His unique blend of culinary expertise and outdoor adventure inspired his previous hit series, Man Eats Wild, and now, United Plates.
