July 2019 – American Defense Manufacturing (ADM) is pleased to announce the Washoe County (NV) Sheriff’s Office SWAT has selected the UIC Mod 1 LE 10.5” upper assembly as upgrades to their official SWAT rifle. Washoe County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement services for the unincorporated area of Washoe County with approximately 412 commissioned personnel. The highly-trained, dedicated SWAT team routinely respond to situations such as barricaded subjects, entry into high risk locations, and other situations that require such tactical support.

The American Defense Mfg UIC Mod 1 LE 10.5” complete upper provides premium components and exceptional performance that include high-quality Rosco® manufactured barrels. The 9” MLOK handguard is designed to provide a stable mounting platform for front iron sights, and MLOK slots to add additional equipment such as lasers, lights and clip-on night-vision devices. These ADM uppers come complete with a premium bolt carrier group, Magpul® MBUS Pro iron sights, and Radian Weapons® Raptor Charging Handle.
