Charity golf tournament in partnership with Big Dreams Outdoors will help kids with intellectual disabilities access the outdoors.
Montgomery, AL — Buckmasters and Realtree are proud to announce a landmark outdoor industry event — the Buckmasters Golf Tournament, taking place on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at the prestigious Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in Prattville, Alabama.
This charity tournament benefits Big Dreams Outdoors, a nonprofit dedicated to providing individuals with intellectual disabilities access to outdoor experiences like hunting and fishing through adaptive equipment and guided events.
A Legacy of Giving Back
Hosted by outdoor legends Jackie Bushman, founder of Buckmasters, and Bill Jordan, founder of Realtree, the tournament celebrates 40 years of friendship and shared commitment to the outdoor community.
“Jackie and I have been close friends for decades, and every time we get together, it’s a chance to laugh, reminisce and do something meaningful,” Jordan said. “This event goes beyond golf — it’s about supporting an incredible cause and bringing people together in the spirit of the outdoors. This event is guaranteed to be full of unforgettable memories while catching up with old friends, making new ones, and celebrating the camaraderie that makes the outdoor community so special.”

Big Dreams Outdoors ensures that no child or adult, regardless of disability, should be denied access to hunting and fishing. In addition to taking the Big Dreams Outdoors participants afield, they offer adaptive gear such as specialized fishing rods and hunting blinds and other gear necessary for an enjoyable and successful experience.
