Whitetails Unlimited Grants $40,000 To DTD Outdoors

Whitetails Unlimited has granted more than $40,000 to DTD Outdoors over this past year. DTD stands for Deer, Turkey, and Ducks and focuses on providing hunting opportunities for military veterans and disable children in and around Monroe County, Mississippi. The majority of the funds received by DTD were subsidized from WTU Mississippi Chapters who work very closely with DTD Outdoors.

DTD was started in 2018 by Cody Huston and Chad Hill who both felt the need to offer hunting excursions to those who may not otherwise have the capabilities. In addition to the hunting provided, the organization also provides support in the form of outdoor education and habitat enhancement.

“DTD is a great organization that not only gives back to the kids and veterans in MS, it also assists Whitetails Unlimited with events in several states,” says WTU Mississippi Field Director Brian Kittrell. “It is very rewarding to watch DTD help so many people get in the woods.”
