National Bowhunter Education Foundation (NBEF) attended the National Archery in The Schools Program (NASP®) Eastern Nationals and Western Nationals and shared information about NBEF’s safety and success-focused bowhunter ed classes with the thousands of NASP® participants, their coaches and families.
In addition to providing scoring pencils for state and national events, NBEF has created limited edition NBEF pins for NASP national tournament participants to trade and collect. NBEF also provided door prizes for participants.
“The new NASP National Pin Passport program was a huge success. NBEF pins offered a fun way to recognize students who take part in the NASP national tournament,” said Marilyn Bentz, Executive Director of the National Bowhunter Education Foundation. “It’s great to see the energy and enthusiasm of the students and their families at these national events. NASP does an excellent job of introducing thousands of young people to archery, creating a strong foundation and potentially sparking interest in bowhunting. Our support of NASP aligns with NBEF’s mission to promote education and foster future bowhunters.”
NASP®’s mission is to promote instruction in international-style target archery as part of in-school curriculum, to improve educational performance and participation in the shooting sports among students in grades 4-12.
